Freedom of Religion in Australia

frb_2008_tnI first heard about this project by the Australian Human Rights Commission on the Southern Pagan blog. In an effort to help encourage people (especially other Aussie Pagans) to make submissions I thought I might as well add the info here as well…

Freedom of Religion and Belief in the 21st Century

Submissions are invited on issues of “Freedom of Religion and Belief in the 21st Century” in Australia. In particular we are interested in your responses to any or all of the questions in the Discussion Paper, as well as any other issues of concern.

Read the Project Overview and the Discussion Paper.

You can also see other individual’s and group’s Submissions received as at 9 January 2009 to get an idea of what people are writing.

This is a chance for Australian Pagans to have some input, so the more pagan groups and individuals who reply the better the outcome for us perhaps. I’m considering writing something – just haven’t got my thoughts organised enough yet.

All submissions must be in by February 28th, 2009.
