I just tuned in to the end of a program called Conversations with Robyn on TVS. I’ve seen a few episodes of this show before and found them very interesting and informative, but because it’s not on one of the main commercial networks and therefore not in the weekly TV program I buy, I unfortunately tend to forget about it. In the episode aired today Robyn Walker interviewed Dr Bruce Lipton – an internationally recognized authority in bridging science and spirit – about his book, The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles. It looks like it could be another interesting addition to my growing collection of books! 😀
The Biology of Belief is a groundbreaking work in the field of New Biology. Author Dr. Bruce Lipton is a former medical school professor and research scientist. His experiments, and that of other leading edge scientists, have examined in great detail the processes by which cells receive information. The implications of this research radically change our understanding of life. It shows that genes and DNA do not control our biology; that instead DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts. Dr. Lipton’s profoundly hopeful synthesis of the latest and best research in cell biology and quantum physics is being hailed as a major breakthrough showing that our bodies can be changed as we retrain our thinking.
“Bruce Lipton’s book is the definitive summary of the new biology and all it implies. It is magnificent, profound beyond words, and a delight to read. It synthesizes an encyclopedia of critical new information into a brilliant yet simple package. These pages contain a genuine revolution in thought and understanding, one so radical that it can change the world.” -Joseph Chilton Pearce author of Magical Child and Evolution’s End.
Go to Conversations with Robyn – The Biology of Belief to watch the interview. Some of the things he says about genes and DNA are a little hard to fathom (I’m forever the skeptic, LOL) but its definitely interesting.
Gregg Braden is internationally renowned as a pioneer in bridging science and spirituality and has also written extensively on the topic. I definitely need more hours in the day to read all these interesting books I’m discovering! 😀
