  1. I love this post!! The drum is amazing and the dragon is awesome!

I have to share that while I read your post I was so excited, I clapped, I laughed, and bounced in my chair the whole time. AND guess what? I have been writing a story that finally broke through November 25th, it is filled with all of my number quirks, Seven and three are mentioned often, but Seven is kind of a big deal at the end. I have been feeling a little concerned about the story, but every time I do something comes up to make me feel like I need to keep working on it. Your post has so many things that click for me as well with what is going on in my life at the moment.

Ironically, November 30th, I went out to the mailbox and on my street were ravens walking around, there were two perched on a house and another one on the house next door. I ran in the house and got the camera to take pictures because they have never done that and haven’t been here since! They were all camped out in front a the house two doors down. There was no food, nothing that seemed to be a reason for them to be there. I scoped out the whole area, I have no idea what my neighbors thought. I was in their yard, and running after these birds to get pictures! Lol! I am going to send you some pictures because that is too funny.

I don’t mean to take away from your post, there is so much packed in here and I am so glad you shared every detail. It was such a pleasure to read and to see this fabulous drum. I think you may see me clicking on the pictures a lot. :-)

    • Thank you so much for commenting Angel …I love it! Your comment doesn’t take away from my post at all, in fact it adds to it and it makes me very happy just to read it! I always enjoy reading your comments on my blogs and I appreciate that you take the time to do so. Yep, the drum is amazing and that dragon sure is awesome! (squee! …still doing silly happy dance in my head when I look at it, lol) :D

Thanks too for your photos of the ravens. I especially like the 2 on the roof looking at each other, so I’ve cropped it so it can fit here.

Now heading over to your blog to catch up on my reading. :D

  2. This is soooo lovely. All of it – the longing, the intention, the waiting, the connections, the writing, and, of course, the drum. That drum is incredible. The sound it produces must be pure magic. Enjoy!

Drumming is something I’ve wanted to get into for a while. Can’t remember if I ever told you this…..I cannot think in pictures, just doesn’t happen….unless I am listening to drumming then pictures happen spontaneously.

    • Thank you! :D You might have mentioned about wanting to get into drumming but not about the thinking in pictures bit …interesting! Funny thing, I was trying to have some alone time with my drum yesterday and after a while started to see images of a bright sunny field with a eucalpyt forest on two or maybe three sides of it. Don’t know where it was or what it meant but it just seemed such a lovely welcoming spot outside in the sun and breeze. Didn’t last long though as family wanted something and I got interrupted again :::sigh::: but, I am certainly having fun with my drum and its sound is incredible! :D
